The wheels work! As do the motors. And it’s a good deal faster than last year’s Lego robots. Just the final building, sensor mounting and controller programming left to do, then… in the 23 days that remain before the competition starts.
There’s one more thing left to order – the custom-made chassis and top layer. The prototype is mounted on Foamex board which, although light and strong for its weight, will probably not be sufficient when faced with international opposition.
